Even though you think you have over 3 months left to get your $8,000.00 tax credit, you really only have about 57 days! The average sale now takes 45 days to close and when you factor in Murphy's Law (if something can go wrong, it will go wrong) you better give yourself a 2 week window to take care of any last minute issues.
